Siam Flour Trading Co., Ltd. originally known as Siam Flour Mill Co., Ltd. started production of wheat flour in early 1970 with capacity of 150 metric tons per 24 hours. The constant growth of the business propelled Siam Flour Mill to increase its milling capacity from 150 to 250 metric tons of wheat per 24 hours in 1980. The main raw material used in the milling is imported from U.S.A., Canada and Australia.

In 1981

the shareholding structure of the company had changed and Metro Group of Companies became the major shareholders since August 1981. In 1992 Siam Flour Trading Company added a new production line of milling capacity of 265 metric tons of wheat per 24 hours with modern and high efficiency equipments. In 2008 the company had replaced the older production line with a milling capacity of 250 metric tons of wheat per 24 hours by machines of latest technology to cope with the requirements of customers.

In 1984

the company lauched the business of margarine and shortening. The production was operated with a capacity of 1,900 liters of fat and oil mixture per hour. The raw materials are from both local and imported sources. The purposes of the products are to serve wheat flour users who normally use margarine or shortening to produce products such as bakery.

On February 15, 2000

the company was granted a certificate of certified quality management system ISO 9002 : 1994 by the Global Cetification Limited. The company was the first flour milling factory in Thailand to receive ISO 9002: 1994 certificate in Thailand.

In 2001

the company was again granted a certificate for adhering the Halal Standard by the Halal Institute of Thailand.

In 2003

the company was further certified to pass the quality management system ISO 9001: 2000, in relation to Good Manufacturing Practices or GMP and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points or HACCP by United Registrar of System or URS.

The company on May 1, 2010

obtained certificate of quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 by URS. With all certificates mentioned above, it is evident that the company keeps on rolling forward with the aim and effort to enhance changes for better, to intensify research, to improve the process of the production and to strictly control quality of the products at the acceptable standard level with the sole objective to maximize satisfaction for our customers.
